So, you know the basics, let’s take it up a notch. – Manage and customize CIS for your students/clients on a more in-depth level. – Create individual portfolio groups and run reports. – Access CIS curriculum including lesson plans, worksheets and PowerPoints – Create customized portfolio checklists to keep your students/clients moving forward. – Increase your school’s CIS team with staff accounts. – Use My Course Plan to create individual training plans. After this session you will be able to:

Creating a Culture of Success Introduce yourselves (Name, where you work, how long have you been there) Think for a moment and come up with one word that describes the career readiness culture at your organization. Is this the culture you want to have? Is it the same throughout the schools/departments?

Knowing Your CIS Team Contract Coordinator Negotiates and signs the CIS Contracts Jointly plans training with Idaho CIS Staff Password Manager Receives and distributes CIS materials to staff Creates and distributes CIS staff accounts and logins Edits the course planner Staff Instruct students/clients to set up and use a portfolio Teach students/clients about using career information Reset the passwords for any user

Why can’t student/client passwords be seen by staff? 50% of websites store passwords unencrypted- we don’t want to leak personal information. Users will be able to reset passwords immediately. Site administrators and staff can always reset passwords.
