2.   The Great Pyramid was built in 2560 B.C. and is 481 feet tall.  It took about 20 years to complete the Great Pyramid.  The Great Pyramid’s base is about 570,000 square feet.  It weighs 5.9 million tons of mass and was made with 2.3 million stone blocks ranging from 2-30 tons. 3.  DDid you know that the Eiffel Tower’s supports are oriented to be aligned with the four compass points? TThe final design called for 18,000 pieces of puddled iron and 2.5 million rivets. IIt took several hundred workers 2 years to make the framework and in March 1889, the tower was 10,000 feet tall. DDuring WW1, the Eiffel Tower was used to intercept enemy radio communications and relay zeppelin alerts. 5.  The Gateway Arch TThe building of the Arch started in Feb. 12,1963 and ended on Oct. 28, 1965. TThe height of the arch is 630 feet along with the width. TThe arch also weights 43,000 pounds. TThe depth of the arch is 60 feet, or 720 inches. TThe cost for all the materials was $13,000,000. TThe amount of steps for emergencies is 1,071. TThe architect’s name is Eero Saarinen.
