Choral (Vocal) It is relating to a chorus or a choir The instrumentation of a choral are the voice parts : Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass or Baritone. There is no way to predict what size chorus would be use in any sort of production. In a choir a performance can be in church, school, it could honestly be anywhere. Orchestral Is a large instrumental ensemble that contains sections of string, brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. A smaller-sized orchestra for this time period (of about fifty players or fewer) is called a “chamber orchestra.” A full- size orchestra (about 100 players) may sometimes be called a "symphony orchestra”. Jazz Is a musical style that originated at the beginning of the 20th century in black communities in the Southern United States. Example of instruments played in Jazz: Saxophone, Piano, Clarinet, Trumpet The size of jazz can be from one person just playing a Saxophone to a band. Wind Ensembles A concert band, also called wind band. Examples of Instruments: Flutes and Reeds. The size is at least 50 members. They can perform anywhere. Benny Goodman: Sweet Georgia Brown, Henry Mancini : Pink Panther, Sonny and Cher: Little Man
