I Love to Sing – But When?
2
I love to sing. I know lots of songs. I like to sing when I’m working at school.
3
There are two problems when I sing while I work. 1.Other kids can’t concentrate. 2. Sometimes it can slow me down when I’m working. Oh man, I can’t concentrate with that singing!!! Oh boy, I did not get done because I was singing.
4
When I sing too loud or too long other kids can start bothering me. Then no one gets their work done. Hey you better stop singing, I can’t get my work done! I’m telling the teacher I can’t get done – and you aren’t getting done either!
5
What Can I Do? There are 3 things I can do when I feel like singing at school.
6
1. I can get most of my work done then ask to go to the restroom – I can sing in the rest room. I have almost all my work done. May I go to the rest room? I can sing a verse in the bathroom then come back to my work!
7
2.I can sing songs in my head or almost in a whisper so no one can hear. So glad my work is done, I can sing in my head.
8
3.I can sing at lunch or class break time or recess. So glad it’s break time!!

There are many times and places I can sing – but not loud while doing school work. I don’t want to bother kids and I want to get my work done too! Hey, thanks for letting me get my work done – when you sing at recess you are really good! Thanks, I like to wait and finish my work too. And I really like to sing.

When, Where, or How to Sing 1.In the restroom after my work is almost done. 2.In a whisper so no one hears, or in my head. 3.At a break time, lunch time, or recess. How easy is that?!
