I also seen how Martin Luther King Jr. gave his I Have A Dream Speech in front of thousands of people at the Lincoln Memorial. The first President book I ever read was Abraham Lincoln. I find his story one of the most fascinating stories. Abraham Lincoln is also on a penny and a five dollar bill.

6. Washington Sites The next place I would like to see is the Jefferson Memorial. This memorial was made to honor Thomas Jefferson. Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, he was one of the founding fathers and served as the third president of the United States. As President he bought the Louisiana Purchase which doubled the size of the United States.

7. Washington Sites The Washington Monument is an obelisk in honor of our founding father as the first President George Washington. He led the American army to victory in the Revolutionary War. He is also on a one dollar bill.

8. Washington Sites The Smithsonian is a large museum in Washington DC with rare artifacts. It is the largest museum complex in the world.

9. Washington Sites The last place I would see in Washington DC is The White House to meet President Barack Obama. The first question I would ask him is how can I become President.
