3. Year 2 visit RAF Manston History Museum. Checking out the rescue helicopter...it’s huge! This term we are learning all about transport and journeys. On returning to school, it was great to hear all about the journeys and different transport experienced by the children over the summer. Our learning journey continued when we visited Manston Museum where, despite the weather, we had a very interesting and exciting morning. We are now learning about Amy Johnson who was the first person to fly solo from England to Australia. Looking forward to getting out of the rain!

4. . This term, we have been busy learning all about place value to help us when we do calculations later on. Maths homework You should have received a letter recently about MyMaths. We will be setting homework once a week that your child can do online. If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us. If you do not have access to a computer at home then your child can come to Mrs George’s classroom on Thursday lunchtimes and use a laptop.
