Project Background Overview SA National Defence Force wants to implement a Meal Management System (MMS) to monitor and control the meal consumptions by soldiers. ✓ No control over the data for soldiers having how many meals a day or month ✓ MMS will help bringing down the huge massive financial losses to zero. ✓ MMS will make sure that no soldier loses out on meal due to meal consumption more than once by other soldiers 2

At Main gate Soldier will enter in the dining hall He will get authenticated based on 1.Finger print + Emp ID 2.His meal matrix 3.Time of the meal At Kitchen Station He will get authenticated based on 1.Finger print 2.His meal matrix 3.His main gate validation After Validation The Screen will display 1.His name and Grade 2.Photo 3.Type of Meal Meal Attendant Based of his type of meal he will serve the meal 1.Normal 2.Special diet 3.Bulk meal Dining Hall Exit Soldier will exit using the bio- metric again Back Office help desk Call “Back office” in case of any issues with Access control

1.Finger prints will be captured in database in MMS 2.Manager will create & notify Meal Matrix including “Bulk meal plan” for each soldier periodically in MMS 3.Meal menu will be created in MMS and inventory control/reorder level etc. 4.Physical installation of Bio metric reader and turnstile will be carried out by vendor who is providing the respective equipments 5.Application interface with Vendor’s Hardware devices will be carried out using vendor’s SDK and coordination with vendor’s technical team. 6.There will be data flow between MMS and vendor’s devices. 7.Reports and analytics will be generated in MMS Project elements Overview 6

Dependency ✓ SDK from bio metric/turnstile vendor and communication with technical team of that vendor ✓ SSET to provide the necessary hardware to India office for exact integration testing. 7
