2 Some figures ~80% of working gas will be made available via new facilities ~54 Bcm ( ~ 80% of total capacity) are foreseen as “live” by 2015 ~30% of working gas is already under construction 18 European countries involved 125 projects analysed: total working gas of 70 bcm (July 2009: 66 bcm)

6 Status of projects PLANNED: A project which has not yet started any formal activity to acquire authorisations from any institution for the planning and permitting phase. PERMITTING PHASE: A project that has started the permitting procedures before construction (see the Database for more information). UNDER CONSTRUCTION: A project that has acquired all major authorisations and has started construction activity with a clear volume and time target
