Description Inspects, tests, and calibrates control instruments and devices to ensure proper performance Example devices include: thermostats, pressure regulators, temperature controls, water controls

Requirements Education Requirements Certification or associates (2-year) degree in measurement science or industry related area (i.e. electronics, biotechnology) Necessary Skills Detailed oriented Clerical, Mechanical, & Numerical Aptitudes

Other Features Salary Range $10 - $25 per hour/$21,000-$52,000 per year varies based on industry and experience Environment Laboratory Manufacturing Plant

Physical Science Application Requires understanding of physical properties, such as: temperature, pressure, etc… Ensures accurate measurements which validates all scientific data
