Here’s what you need today: * Writing utensil * Looseleaf & orange Think-Tac-Toe sheet (Vocab. notes) **Pick up a copy of “My Papa’s Waltz” from under basket at your desks. This needs to be read, annotated, and completed for tomorrow.

Identify an antonym. I may have to look up the meaning. I use dictionaries and thesauri to gather words that discuss the same topic. Read and annotate My Papa’s Waltz (Must be completed by Thursday) Continue working on your extended metaphor poem (Rough draft due Friday!) Work on Cycle 3 linear arrays. (You need 2!) * At least 5 words of which one word must contain a Cycle 3 word part! Study Cycle 3 Word parts for upcoming quiz early next week. (We’ve been in this cycle a while; it’s time!)
