Compassion This can only be achieved if those in the caring professions listen and learn from patient experiences, to connect with their humanity and individuality (Berwick,2013)

More questions than answers and some thoughts 1.ePatients have an important contribution to make in ‘shaping care ’ and cultivating compassion. 2. Why are they such an underutilised resource in nurse education? 3.How can we harness patient narratives? 4.How can we evaluate the impact of patient narratives in education?
