The Wave A wave long body of water curling into an arched form and breaking on the shore. There are six parts of a wave. The six parts are the wave crest, wave trough, orbital path of water molecules, wave height, still water level, wavelength.

Ocean Waves Waves that strike the shore at an angle help move sand along the shoreline, forming sandy beaches. Waves erosion forms jagged, steep cliffs. Waves constantly break against the shore creating rocky formation.
