2. Objectives Parallel Lines, Skew Lines, Parallel Planes,
To define in an understandable way and to give real-life examples for and then, to test your knowledge of:
Parallel Lines,
Skew Lines,
Parallel Planes,
Alternate Interior Angles,
Same Side Interior Angles,
Corresponding Angles, and
Alternate Exterior Angles.

3. Skew and Parallel Lines and Parallel Planes
When you have two lines on the same plane that will never cross, you have parallel lines (blue), for example, the front edge of the desk and the back end are parallel. When you have two lines on two different planes that aren’t parallel and will not intersect, then they are skew (red), for example, the edge of the desk and the wall are skew. Parallel planes are planes that will never intersect (green), for example, the floor and the top of the desk are parallel planes.

4. Transversal
When you have a line that intersects two other lines on the same plane at distinct points, you have a transversal (dark pink) for example, in a window made of six panes, the middle line would be the transversal.

5. Alternate Interior and Same Side Interior Angles
When you have two parallel lines cut by a transversal, the angles on different sides (left and right) in between the two lines are alternate interior angles (pink). The angles on the same side (both left or both right) in between the two lines are same side interior angles (yellow).

6. Corresponding and Alternate Exterior Angles
When you have two parallel lines cut by a transversal, the angles on different sides (left and right) outside of the two lines are alternate exterior angles (purple). The angles that are on the same side (both left or both right) and on the same sides of the two lines (both in between or both outside) are corresponding angles (orange).
