Partner Intake – one last time
2
Entity Types & Registration Flow Review © Fruitful Strategy, Confidential for Johnson & Johnson 2 5 relationship / partner types 1.Manufacturers (Subscribers) – Large Fee, primary EPEAT customers – no automation of intake or management – all done pretty much as now. Messaging as we have developed for OEMs generally – focus on the benefit to them of EPEAT participation – reputation, market access, reaching enviro-oriented customers ALL MANUFACTURER PROCESSING THROUGH DIRECT CONTACT OUTSIDE AUTOMATED INTAKE – ALL INFO FILLED IN AT BACK END 2.Purchaser (Purchasing?) Partners (For profit and nonprofit purchasers) – No fee - entry requires posting contract info, end pages are split by govt/inst (not-for-profit, government, healthcare and educational) and Enterprise (incl SME) - different resources, messaging style. Messaging/benefits – recognition as a responsible purchaser, benefit of sharing with other purchasers, making sure OEMs know of purchaser interest in green options. 3.Channel Partners All companies or groups that sell electronics and IT and related services and want to sell EPEAT registered products – whether Distributors, Resellers, Retailers, Consultants, IT Service Provides. Messaging very immediate/sales focused – no detail, no lengthy in depth – just the key messages and resources to help sell. 4.Champions – All organizations that want to help promote use of EPEAT to purchasers or other users. NGOs, consultants, publishers, educational inst. No fee – just sign up and pledge to promote EPEAT to members, if a membership org, or to students, or the general public or whatever. Messaging very much about mission, environment, the power of purchaser/consumers motivated to buy greener products. 5.Individual Users - Keep on top of what’s happening with EPEAT, access training and newsletters. This is the choice for those considering more active participation (by their company for example) but not ready to commit organizationally. (An individual consumer might join here as well but consumer resources/options like Facebook etc should be up front on consumer/individual page, not require sign in )
