Professional Practice Rubric Teacher Rubric Changes o State level changes reducing redundancies and cleaning up language (Handout) SSP Rubric Changes o Coming Summer of 2015 Changes to be adopted Fall of 2015 o As a result, changed elements will not have an option to roll over in the Dashboard

Measures of Student Learning Adjustments SPF o No new ratings for 2015-16; Current scores roll over State Assessments o Timeline & Format of Scores Unknown o Current 1 st Look Scores from 2014-15 state assessments will roll over 1 st Look Scores o Continuation: DIBELS (K-3) & MAP (Fall/Spring) o Addition: STAR (1 Year) & MAP (Fall/Winter)

District Approved Assessments - 2 nd Look Overview o Process for adding a “Fall Look” for teachers o Initial score based on 1 year of data with subsequent scores based on 2 years of data o 1 Semester Hour of District Credit for staff upon completion of an Approved District Assessment o Not required for SGOs

2 nd Look - Screening Documentation Screening Documentation Complete the yellow highlighted sections of the WPSD Assessment Review Tool Download and highlight applicable standards o Colorado, National, Common Core o Electronic version preferred Copy the assessment, student materials, scoring guide, and any additional accompanying documents

2 nd Look - Approval Process Documentation submitted by October 10 th, January 10 th, or March 10 th to Central Office Assessment screened by the District Approved Assessment Team, plus a content expert, using the rubric on the review tool Team Recommendation of… o Approved o Approved pending slight modifications o Rewritten and resubmitted o Modified and resubmitted Once approved, data collected each Spring and uploaded into the Dashboard each Fall
