4. Housing Plan a big event to get people thinking about housing options, and how Assistive Technology can help people be more independent Mystery shopping with Councils housing departments Develop a Housing Pathway

5. Jobs and employment We write a draft big plan for the council about jobs and they say we can have an exciting new post to do all the work in the future. But because of the council budget consultation we have to wait We still want to plan a workshop to ask employers what stops them from giving jobs to people with a learning disability We will carry on with the jobs survey and ask people to get others to fill it in We contact the Chamber of Commerce and the Northamptonshire Enterprise Council to talk about their ideas and any help they can give us

6. Quality and Keeping Safe We meet with the Police hate crime lead, Luisa Jepson, before she left her job to write down the important steps we need to train keep safe places and give out keep safe cards We will have a plan to train keep safe places New leaflets are made We will meet in January to agree a new action plan

7. Project Planning and Money We talk about the LDPB budget Because the council has to save a lot of money we cannot spend money on things we can do without. But we can spend money on the work we want to do in our groups The LD Association money will stay the same until the end of March 2015. The Association will develop a plan to support our projects for 2016/17 and in the future

8. Project Planning and Money We look at the list of things that each work group said it wants to spend money on before the end of March 2016. We ask questions and add comments and say if we agree The table on the wall shows what we said You can look at this in the breaks and if you want to make a comment you can write it down and put it in the box or Lisa will write it down in confidence for you
