1900’s (early) In WWI France was among the Allied Powers against the Central Powers, while mainly wanting revenge on Germany. After WWI France gained heavy reparations from Germany. Again France joined the Allies in WWII to stop Hitler Post WWII joined GB and the US to form Trizonia and try and put a stop to Communism
