PROS Differentiate – based on skills Students can use hints and videos if they are stuck on a question Teacher can pick and choose standard and assign to students Really good challenging questions Student’s motivation is to earn and unlock games You can see how long they worked on assignment and if/how many hints and videos they used Paid and free version App for iPads You can see what the student made on each assignment and reassign if needed Gives a report of who has submitted which assignment and their grade

CONS Only work in grade level assigned Jam Session – Student can pick the skill Only paid version will use interventions and reteach before moving the student on Questions are a little harder – could be good for review at EOY or after a unit Paid version offers – assessments, personal work tracks Premium pricing begins at $20 per student per year.

HOW AND WHEN I USE IT Homework – differentiate homework for each child. If they need to practice current unit or practice with skills previously taught. Core math rotations – differentiate groups within the classroom.
