Walruses are marine mammals that live in the arctic. They have bulky bodies with 4 flippers. They can weigh around 1200-3000 pounds.

They have thick brown skin. Their blubber helps keep them warm.

Their tusks can grow up to 3 feet long.

These tusks help them chop breathing holes through the ice or to pull themselves out of the water.

Walruses have whiskers that help them detect food under the water. Their favorite food are clams. They also will eat fish and seals.
