FDR considered a 3rd New Deal to combat some remaining problems Many Americans felt end of Depression was near FDR did not want to continue deficit spending 3rd New Deal never occurred Unemployment did increase slightly Hitler’s rise to power in Europe soon became the main focus of FDR & the U.S.
