Disability Association of Tavana was established in 1995 to change the attitude of the society towards disability, to improve the culture of the public and to support social rights of the disabled. This center is such a dynamic association which continues its activities without any people grants and any reliance on government financial support.

4. DAT`s joined members Now the DAT has more than 3558 members with disabilities (physical and mobility, hearing, visual).

5. DAT`s associated members Now DAT has more than 1,000 including artists, professionals, managers, and etc as honorary members who are known as associated members in the fields of education, health and counseling services.

14. Peyk-e-Tavana's National Monthly The first accredited national Monthly of Disabled which issues in Iran aim to reflect the latest news on Disabled Rights. It is issued 10 thousand copies across the country and is available for Persons with Disabilities, Welfare and Rehabilitation experts on free.

Packaging Workshop of Firooz Hygienic group Solving problems of people with disability especially the employment will not be possible, except in the light of sympathy and companionship of the private sectors, including production and industrial units; so Firooz Hygienic group which is located in Alborz industrial town, In Qazvin, started cooperation with the center since 2002. The result of this collaboration is employment of 186 individuals including blind, deaf and physically disabled at the company's packaging lines.

Tavana’s Electronics Industries Company Tavana’s Electronics Industry Company as one of the best equipped workshops which produces transformers, bobbin, and choke, montage of electronic boards, and electrical panels plays an effective role in national entrepreneurship and productions. 50 individuals of DAT members are working at the mentioned company.

32. Children productions workshop Children productions workshop which produces mats and hygiene Diaper has 15 employees with disabilities. The workshop produces the orders of Firooz Company as well as produceing products by Tavana Brands.

33. Home Jobs Home jobs are accounted as one of services which were provided by DAT for people with severe mobility disability. In this respect, DAT has provided income for 8 persons with disabilities through contracting with Henkel and Firooz Companies.

34. Sell and charging the Electronic Cards of Citizen DAT in cooperation with Bus Company of Qazvin contributed in providing services to the citizens through creating charging stations for Citizen Cards in the city. Now, 24 people with disabilities are working at these centers.

37. Tavana's Housing Cooperative Through creating Housing Cooperative and identifying the needs of the disabled along with efforts of the managers and assistance the Almighty God, DAT overcame the problem and provided about 250 affordable housing for qualified individuals with disabilities.

38. Arranging camps by DAT has been played effective role in Consulting and coordination of the members. These measurements implemented based on the preplan goals and they are in line with cultural goals of the association. More than 130 tourism and pilgrimage camps have been held for personnel and center branches in different cities of Iran. Organizing recreational and educational camps
