2. Problem Statement  Design and construct a birdfeeder that is suited to the preference of a purple finch.  Use only the provided materials.

3. Research  Google these questions and find an answer  What are style bird feeder will a purple finch be attracted to?  What are 3 basic features of the band saw?  What are 3 different styles of bird feeders?  Be sure to copy your website sources and paste them into your portfolio.

4. Possible Solutions  Find a picture or two of an existing solution.  Create a new idea of the shape of your bird feeder.

6. Decision and Rationale  What birdfeeder design will I make?  I will attempt to make the feeder to match my sketch #2.  Why?  I believe that more feeding points will help attract more birds. It has more detail involved and will be more challenging to build.

7. Developing a Solution  Take pictures of your process and paste them in here.  You can paste multiple pictures on one slide, or each photo can have its own slide.

Re-Evaluate  Answer the following questions in your design portfolio after you complete.  Take some time to re-evaluate your design and consider how it feels to use.  Did your design solve the problem?
