Only female adult mosquito can suck blood. The smell of sweat attracts mosquito to the human body.

How Mosquito Penetrates The Skin To Suck Blood The mouth of the mosquito has a long pointed threads. This penetrate the skin to reach a blood capillary. The labium hold it in place. The labium will contract to support the tread when penetrating the skin. Saliva will pass down the thread to prevent the blood from clotting.

Dengue Dengue is transmitted by the Aedes mosquito. They feed during the daytime. Dengue Signs and Symptoms You experience symptoms 3 to 14 days after being infected. Symptoms include: frontal headache, abdominal pains, joint pain and muscular pain. Signs: fever, vomiting, enlarge liver and rash.
