Have you ever felt like this? My assignment for my Masters degree aligns with my classroom practice. Why can’t it be part of my goals? It’s just DSIB, DSIB, DISB… I feel like I’m jumping through hoops. My line manager has suggested a goal for this year, but I’m not sure how it helps the kids. The staff dinner we had was lovely. But how does that help me in my classroom? It would be really nice if my line manager could let me know I’ve done something right, instead of just talking to me when I make a mistake.

Can we align teacher goals to their own interests and school recommendations? Teacher: I just attended a great workshop on mixed ability grouping in the Science classroom. School: DSIB noted that independent work in older students was less developed in some science classrooms.
