2. What’s a Tsunami? Tsunamis are giant waves caused by earthquakes or volcanic eruptions under the sea. Out in the depths of the ocean, tsunami waves do not dramatically increase in height. But as the waves travel inland, they build up to higher and higher heights as the depth of the ocean decreases. Tsunami’s waves may travel as fast as a jet planes over deep waters, only slowing down when reaching shallow waters.

5. Diary Boxing Day 2004, Dear diary, I am having a great time in Thailand, this is by far the best holiday ever. I am all ready however am waiting for my sister to get ready, so we can go down to poolside and sun bathe. I picked up the the towel and I heard a thud. I quizzed my sister if she felt that as well but she just said I was just a nut case. Then again but something different happened I could see a massive wave. I knew this was bad. There is a tear coming down my eye because This is the end.
