2 Where did they live?  The Huron Tribe lived in Southeast Michigan  Lived near Lake Huron  Not all of the Huron Tribe lived in Michigan some lived in Arizona

3 What did the Huron Tribe eat  The Huron tribe ate corn, cornbread, beans, squash, sunflowers, soups, and stews.  They hunted deer's and wild turkeys.  They fished in the rivers and farmed on the plains.

4 Housing  The Huron Tribe lived in Long Houses  Long Houses can hold up to sixty people  One Wyandot house was one-hundred fifty feet long

5 Clothing  The Huron Tribe wore breech clothes, leggings, and deer skin tunics  For shoes the Huron Tribe wore moccasins

6 Impact of Europeans  The French came with small pox and attacked people with the small pox  They also forced them out of their lands

7 Beliefs  Christian  The traditional story tells about the creation of the world  Story telling, fairy tales, and legends are very important to the Huron Tribe  When Huron’s die it is said their spirits will go to the far west  A lady fell from the sky and gave birth to two twin brothers who dueled one with a bag of beans and the other with a deer horn
