Where did they live? The Huron Tribe lived in Southeast Michigan Lived near Lake Huron Not all of the Huron Tribe lived in Michigan some lived in Arizona

What did the Huron Tribe eat The Huron tribe ate corn, cornbread, beans, squash, sunflowers, soups, and stews. They hunted deer's and wild turkeys. They fished in the rivers and farmed on the plains.

Housing The Huron Tribe lived in Long Houses Long Houses can hold up to sixty people One Wyandot house was one-hundred fifty feet long

Clothing The Huron Tribe wore breech clothes, leggings, and deer skin tunics For shoes the Huron Tribe wore moccasins

Impact of Europeans The French came with small pox and attacked people with the small pox They also forced them out of their lands

Beliefs Christian The traditional story tells about the creation of the world Story telling, fairy tales, and legends are very important to the Huron Tribe When Huron’s die it is said their spirits will go to the far west A lady fell from the sky and gave birth to two twin brothers who dueled one with a bag of beans and the other with a deer horn
