State Symbols Motto- Ditat Deus which is in Latin, in English it means “ God Enriches” Neckwear- Bolo tie The flag has a blue bottom. Radiating upward are yellow and red lines representing the Arizona sunset. In the middle is a gold star. Flag- the center of the flag is copper star representing the states most valuable mineral. Bottom half is blue. Radiating upward to represent Arizona’s sunset are 13 rays alternating red and yellow.
