Key Scholarship Application Elements Application form – Must be neat, thorough, accurate Essay – Be specific about your experience, tell a good story, edit several times and use a reviewer Resume – Assure it’s current, accurate, neat. How to Apply for Scholarships Use CIS Financial Aid Sort Decide which scholarships apply to you Develop a plan for submitting your applications by scholarship deadlines Finalize your resume Secure reference letters Contact the scholarship provider to assure your application was received (after submission) Report any aid you receive to your college.
