7 Case study Collaborate to Innovate is a graduate internship and academic secondment project delivered by Loughborough University and funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF ).

8 Why Lead Generation? Loughborough Univeristy had a need to engage with employers matching a set criteria Other marketing methods relied on employers contacting the University or were simply not targeted enough Why use an outsourced provider? They required a professional resource to credibly represent their brand The Enterprise team would be using their time to visit employers and match suitable candidates.

9 Campaign journey Approach agreed Appointments Generated Feedback from employers Approach modified Successful conversion rates

10 Listening to the Stakeholders The campaign was very successful, generating 333 appointments Key findings: Employer feedback - strong preference for the option to retain the intern on a permanent basis Loughborough University feedback – key message modified to reflect the potential to extend the contract Candidate feedback – we targeted sectors that had a correlation with individuals area of interest
