There is also the large class timetable on the wall just outside the door Entry – Mrs. Toms and Mrs. Ormrod’s classes will line up along the fence (where Gr. 7s used to line up) and Miss Eagleson and Mr. Hendy’s classes will line up along the school wall (where Gr. 8s used to line up) Fire Drill – line up at the door, exit towards intermediate stairs, head out towards the field and line up, single file under the trees (Gr. 8s, you are to take the lead on where to go during our first fire drill)

School and Classroom Expectations Lunch time – sit properly at a desk while eating (boomerang lunch = all garbage goes back home); clean up your desk area before leaving for lunch (I should not see ANY food on the desks/floor when I come in after lunch, nor should there be ANY garbage in the desks) You need to ask for permission to get a drink/go to the washroom (ask either the lunchroom supervisor or the teacher on duty BEFORE leaving the room) No personal devices out unless supervised by a teacher

School and Classroom Expectations Dress Code – from the DDSB Dress Code – “tops and bottoms must meet with no midriff skin showing and with no undergarments showing. Tops must cover straps of undergarments; necklines must not reveal cleavage; no tube tops or halter tops; clothing should not display any unacceptable messages/language; at LAPS we have the 4 finger rule for determining proper length of shorts/skirts and “muscle shirts” are acceptable if they are clearly presenting as tank tops and not undershirts.”
