2 Dress-Men Puritans dressed according to style at there time
The black attire we associate with them was only formal wear for the Sabbath Black was also typically worn more by the wealthy, black dye was expensive. Another style choice of Puritan men was to closely crop the hair Royalists, or Cavaliers, wore their hair long and messy Royalists  called them "Roundheads"

3 Dress-Women linen smock as their undergarment
Several skirts called "petticoats“ Bodies, known today as a corset A jacket or gown, probably wool, in a drab color (not black, which was an expensive dye) A linen cap Woolen stockings and leather shoes Most women’s clothing was tied or laced to accommodate the changes of pregnancy

4 Diet The puritan diet was nothing special
Some of it consisted of meat, fish, stew, vegetables, pudding (made from corn), popcorn, and apples They didn’t eat much fruit because it wasn’t common to grow fruit back then Maple sugar was the most common sweetener used
