Strategic Objectives The SOE will: 1. follow National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) recommendations for class sizes. 2. follow NCTE recommendations for faculty load 3. continue to pursue professional development and engage in community service 4. improve its developmental program 5. expand program offerings to provide diverse opportunities to students seeking an English major
