Assignment #1  In your sketchbook: practice drawing eyes, noses, and mouths individually.  Remember, there are very few lines on the face, use lots of shading and create depth!  I will come around and give you pointers on how to improve what you are doing.  Remember, it takes time for anyone to learn to see things differently.

9.  I will call you up one at a time and take your picture for the self portrait we will be drawing next week.  If you want to try to work from a mirror, you can if you bring one from home. (I’ll still take a picture in case you forget.) For next week…
