Element and principle process  First we move around the class to each table where there are different element and principle. This project basically freshen our memories from art 1.

The pictures.

Summary  Art has not always been good for me, but however this year has been very progressive for me. For the first semester we have done many projects, such as: three-dimensional letters, portraits, Eye Fear, and handscape. Also we learned many skills like the different type of shading, 3-d, and blending with different materials. Overall, the first semester was okay. This semester there were many projects that were challenging but enjoyable. The first project was the Eye Fear. This project was enjoyable because I got the chance to let my peers know that I'm not a tough guy and that I am human and I have fears. Next project would be the handscape. While I was working on this project it showed me that I can be creative. The final project would be the BAP. I enjoyed this the most because I believe that I can be weird and funny, which means I had the opportunity to enjoy something, but furthermore it fits my character. These projects are the ones that I enjoyed the most. The projects are cool but before you start you must have a process. The three processes I would like to discuss are Eye, BAP, and the three dimensional letters. The eye process was kind of weird for me. It was weird because of the utensil I used. During this process I we had to think about form of an eye, pulp, and the direction of the light source. Then you had to think about your fear. Next process is the BAP, this process was very fun because you had the chance to be weird. The fun part of this process comes when they had to put weird body parts together and make it look beautiful. The final process is the three dimensional letters, which was difficult. It was difficult because you had to make all different types of angles. These processes were pretty interesting and challenging. Art has thought me skills not only in the classroom but in the real world. One skill I learned was the different ways to go about shading. Shading comes with variety of ways. Another skill I learned was patients. I gain this skill by being judgmental at the beginning of my work and by beating down on myself. This skill was displayed at the end, it showed me that things will turn out good if I just be patient with myself. The best skill I've learned this semester is self-confidence. This skill came into play when my teacher kept me motivated, told me it look nice, and I began to have the attitude that my artwork is good even if others say no. The skills I learned this semester I am thankful for this class and my teacher. ( Ms. Coffee... My Favorite) Overall this semester was pretty good for me. I did many projects, learned the process it takes to do those projects, and more importantly I gain skills that can transfer into the real world. If you were to take this class what would you get from it?

The process….. This project was about the vegetables and how we see them we had to draw them. The materials we used were chalk pastels, paper, and the light source. This project was basically about how to draw what you see and how to do the different types of blending. Overall the project was pretty cool. Also I believe I did a very bad because I didn’t do the blending right.

Handscape process First we started drawing landscapes. Next we watched videos how to make a hand usingdifferent shapes. Then we sketched a handinto our SB. Finally be put the hand and thelandscape together. The project was pretty difficult because the hand was very hard to draw after you drewit.

Handscape pictures…..

BAP& Eye-fear process. For my BAP we had to look at different pictures to form a portrait. In the project we had to use two weird features included in theproject. Also we had to create a background. The overallpurpose was to create a portrait that looks nice to you and bewired at the same time. For my Eye-fear I had to practice drawing a eye. Then I had to brainstorm about what I am afraid of. I fear God. Next I had todraw it on a large sheet of paper. This project was very hardbecause I never drew with pen so I had to be real careful. The project was good because I learned a lot of techniqueswith pen.

Abstraction process….. first we listen to music to do some doodling. Then we look at the different ways todecorate the lines and shapes. Also we lookat the different patterns. Next we transfer theabstraction onto the large paper. Finally weput color on it. Over all the project was cool. I learned to use different materials. Most of all I let my mindrelax.
