2. Content Passion I am passionate about teaching about flowers. All different flowers – from the everyday to the exotic ones. I love to see students faces when they master the skill of bow making, taping wire, making a boutonniere/corsage, creating an arrangement, and entering/creating an arrangement for the FFA Horticultural Exposition. This in it self for some students is a success story and shows that they can create something that is their own. Within your subject matter, what are you passionate about teaching? In other words, of all the topics and standards you teach as part of your curriculum, which are the ones you most enjoy?

3. Professional Passion I am ignited when I “get” to a student who finally has success creating something. At the end of the year, when the quietest student comes and says “thank you”, or when that special needs student (who shut down talking all year) says “thank you”. When my safe classroom environment holds a group of diverse students and they are all working and getting along, that drives me! Within your profession, but not specific to your subject matter, what are you passionate about? What is it about being an educator that drives you? What ignites a fire inside of you?

4. Personal Passion I am passionate about my 3 children and my grandson! I love animals and wish I had another collie to take care of (or is it taking care of me). I love to be outdoors and laugh at the animals that have taken over my back yard – cats, groundhogs, deer. Completely outside of your profession, what are you passionate about?
