4.  Trust is £2.94 m overspent, mainly due to slippage from the late implementation of CRES plans.  Division is £0.80m overspent, mainly due to £147K overspent on medical staff, £262k overspend on theatres non-pay, and underachievement of savings of £454k.  Directorate is £50k underspent, although this appears to be due mainly to vacancies, and an overenthusiastic estimate of income.
