Your address: written in the top right-hand corner of the letter The address of the person you are writing to: written on the left (starting below your address) DATE: On the right or on the left (usually on the right). The month is written as a word.

GREETING: Dear Sir or Madam, : If you don't know the person you are writing to. Dear Mr Jhonson, : If you know the name use Mr, Mrs, Miss, Ms, Dr... + surname If you write to a woman and don't know if she is married or not use Ms (for married and single women)
