UN Economic Commission for Europe eBGT Project – Online Standards Showcase (OSS) The OSS will be a resource available via the Internet, demonstrating a representative set of UN/CEFACT processes supporting the Buy-Ship-Pay model. It will contain process descriptions, documentation, and business information models with corresponding XML schemas. The goal is to present a coherent framework that will facilitate awareness-building, with a view to fostering confidence that implementing the UN/CEFACT's standards and guidelines will result in more effective e-business, e- government and e-trade. The OSS is intended to reach a variety of audiences, from executives to managers to technology implementers; and to resonate with the widest possible range of stakeholders around the world. 4 Background - OSS
