Look at that pumpkin! I love green apples. They have many toys which pumpkin? what kind of apples? how many?
3
The function of the adjective is to either describe a noun or pronoun by answering the following questions: Which? What kind? How many?
4
That English teacher is boring. These are my books. Nouns and pronouns function as adjectives, depending on their function and position.
5
More than one adjective may modify the same noun or pronoun. For example, 1) Can you please get me those two green apples?
6
Adjectives do not always come before the noun or pronoun they describe. An adjective may come after a linking verb and describe the noun or pronoun that comes before the verb. For example Anna is old, but she is young at heart. ( old describes Anna; young modifies she)
7
In some cases, an adjective may come after the noun or pronoun that it describes. In this case, commas must come before and after these adjectives. Example A balrog, large and fiery, faced Gandalf. ( large and fiery describe balrog)
8
Adjectives may also precede the noun or pronoun that it describes; in this case, a comma should be placed after the adjective. Example Large and fiery, the balrog loomed before Gandalf. ( large and fiery describes balrog)
