1 Teaching Strategies Instructional methods for learning styles

2 There are many different teaching/instructional strategies that can be used in a classroom to cater to the different learning styles. Here are a few examples.

3 Kinesthetic/Tactile Learners Require a more “hands-on” instructional method. Take for example this Elementary Spelling Lesson. Notice how a ball is being passed around which engages the students into constant movement while learning.

4 Visual Learners Have to be able to actually “see” whatever lesson is being taught Take for example this Middle School Math lesson It is a PowerPoint Presentation!!!

5 Auditory Learners Require a lesson that they could actually hear or listen to. Take for example this High School English Lesson. Students listen to a poem being read from a CD.
