Three types of cards 1.“Help the Kid” These cards tell about a person who has a problem. Try to help solve the person’s problem. Option: The adult can pretend to be the kid who has the problem. Then, participants give the adult advice on solving the problem. autismteachingstrategies.com

2.“All about You” These cards ask questions about you. Try to give a good, honest answer. autismteachingstrategies.com

3. “Fix the Thought” These cards show different thoughts a young person might have. Try to find different and better thoughts that this person might have instead. Option: The adult can hold this card up and then pretend to be a young person who is having this thought.
