5. What were our steps? 2. Email consultation with SRG clear negative opinion - welfare, huge doubts about purpose 3. Application for veterinary statement – breeding conditions for dolphins in cirsus tent, importer provided project documentation only what met minimum size of the pool in accordance vet. law but for stabile facility not for mobile negative opinion 4. Ask the importer to check the accomodation No visit, facility was not built to the time

Our opinion on this import NEGATIVE 1)problem to make NDF – no information from Ukraine, questions about origin of specimens resp. origin of parents (0 quota) 2)negative vets statement – accomodation 3)doubts about purpose of the transaction E, S – but this is task for MA to evaluate the real purpose and distinguish commercial and non commercial activity

9. importer sold many thousands of tickets via internet especially still assured the public that the event will carry out, even though it was clear that the import permit will not be issued

The end of the story? applicant appealed to the Ministry of the Environment (MA), but permit was not issued instead of show with dolphins carried out another performance performance was free for people who have a tickets to dolphins show as a thank for their patience importer informed public that the show with dolphins will carry out in autumn No dolphins show till this time No money back for the tickets
