Table Top Exercise BP Confidential Day 1 (28 SEP) is a training day Build familiarity with Alaska & Prince William Sound Understand the exercise scenario Become familiar with the rest of the response team. Develop Response Community capability The exercise will span 2 days and start at hour 48: Bad weather will have impacted the response and require adjusting strategies and tactics in response to changing conditions. Extensive preparatory effort to: Build the response timeline Obtain necessary permits / authorizations Develop the Incident Action Plan for use during the exercise. Engagement of the response community during design Challenge the IMT to deal with less than ideal conditions. Prioritise / make trade-offs Challenge the IMT to look further into the response Develop long range plans Look to mobilization of out of region resources.
