1. Good Morning! Welcome to the first NHS meeting of the year!

2. Please stand up for the Pledge I pledge myself to uphold the high purposes of the National Honor Society to which I have been selected; I will be true to the principles for which it stands; I will be loyal to my school; and will maintain and encourage high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

3. Dues ➢ Initial members inducted in the Spring semester pay $10 ➢ All members also pay $10 to cover office supply expenses ➢ Can be paid in payments of $5 each semester ➢ If it's financially impossible to pay dues it is YOUR responsibility to talk to Mrs. Linam if you cannot pay your dues

4. NHS Meetings ➢ All meetings are MANDATORY!!! ➢ If you need to miss a meeting you must EMAIL Mrs. Linam 24 hours in ADVANCED! ➢ If fail to do so YOU will be put on probation after the first unexcused absence! ➢ If put on probation and you fail to meet NHS meeting requirements you will be TERMINATED from NHS membership.

6. Service Hours ➢ 18 hours total due Friday, 4:15 pm!!! ➢ If you do not have at least 12 hours you must see Mrs. Linam ASAP ➢ Fall Semester- 12 hours required for all students! ➢ Spring Semester- 12 hours Juniors & 3 hours Seniors

8. Voting ➢ Vote on if keeping average grade at 90 or 93

9. Community Service ➢ What is it? ➢ All NHS Group Community service is MANDATORY!!!!
