Summary of Results – Data Table
Video of Gluocose/Starch Dialysis Tubing What was present in the semi-permeable bag at the beginning of the experiment? What was present inside the beaker at the beginning of the experiment? What was present at the end in the beaker?

Osmosis Diffusion Lab Question 1: Question 2:
What is moving into bag? What is moving out of bag? Question 2: Provide evidence – DATA!!! What data did you collect? Be specific Question 3: Explain how you know what moved into and out of bag. Use your knowledge of diffusion and osmosis to explain your results. Pore size (size of holes in membrane) Concentration (low, high) – does not have to be specific numbers.

Red Onion Lab Sketches should have Detailed pictures
Total Magnification (10X eyepiece, 10X or 40 X objective ) – calculate magnification Description (colors, size, shape, structures)

Questions 1 &2. Add arrows and concentrations (high/low) to Sketches B and C State whether the cell is in a hypertonic, hypotonic, or isotonic solution. Use your class notes and textbook to make that determination.
14
Describe why osmosis is a form of diffusion.
