Youth Wrestling Programs in Mason Mason Youth Wrestling (MYW) Beginners-Intermediate Community team www.masonyouthwrestling.com Grades K-6 Registration fee = $110-120 plus tournaments Season primarily runs from November 3 through February Pinnacle Wrestling Club Advanced wrestlers Club team www.pinnaclewrestling.net Grades 5-8 (younger advanced wrestlers accepted at coaches discretion) Registration fee = $400 (see website for details) Season primarily runs through State tournaments but some wrestlers choose to wrestle in events year round Wrestlers who want to DUAL register for both MYW and Pinnacle can do so at a discounted rate of $65 for MYW. 3. Practice Structure Mason Youth Wrestling 2 Practices a week* Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30-8 p.m. Mason Middle School *Optional additional practices at Courts4Sports (additional fee will apply) Pinnacle Wrestling Club 4-5 practices a week Monday-Friday 6:30-8 p.m. Mason High School Wrestling Room

Competition Schedule Mason Youth Wrestling Competing on the weekends is OPTIONAL and at the discretion of the parent and the wrestler CYW-Schedule Examples: Fairfield, Moeller, Lakota Dual Meets Community schedule 2-3 Regional Travel dates for Dual events Examples: West Virginia & Indianapolis Pinnacle Wrestling Club More intense practice and competition Regional travel Travels 3-4 times per month Weekly wrestle-offs for Dual events Individual and Team events: Examples: Grand Rapids, MI, Cleveland, OH, Parksburg, WV, Columbus, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Independence, MO, and Springfield, IL

Fundraisers and Parent Commitment at MYW Fundraisers: Mason Trophy Tournament, 12/13/15 Mason Junior Duals, 1/9/16 Parent commitment: Bring wrestler to practices and wrestling competition Work two, 2 ½ hour sessions at Mason Trophy Tournament Some volunteers needed for Junior Duals Volunteers: Coaching, no previous experience required Required mandatory concussion training Required background check Assist with equipment handouts Assist with end of the year party
