2 Ancient boxing had fewer rules than the modern sport. Boxers fought without rounds until one man was knocked out, or admitted he had been beaten.

3 There were 4 types of races at Olympia. Runners ran 192 meters or all the stadium

4 The course was 12 laps around the stadium track (9 Km. ).

5 The Olympic games started in Ancient Greece and they are still held now. Once every four years, men from all over Greece came to compete in a great athletic festival in Elis, in western Greece (Women were not allowed to compete). This was called the Olympic games because the place was called Olympia.

6 If you won the Olympics games: Like our Olympics, though, winning athletes were heroes who put their home towns on the map also they put laurel leaves around their head.
