11. 11 Analysis of 14 DG Supply Chains 14 long-term supply chains analysed in autumn 2006. No critical problems detected, but differences and overlap in the regulations of different transport modes exist. Capacity limitations on ro-ro and ro-pax ferries in summer. System-controlled operations, up-to-date equipment, well-trained personnel and an approved quality system a must. Better coordination between safety authorities is needed.
