Ancient Rome (507 B.C.E. – 476 C.E.) VI. European Middle Ages (500C.E.-1350C.E.) VII. European Renaissance (1350-1600 C. E.) * Each unit has projects and active student centered class-work based on the History Alive! program and textbook.

MATERIALS NEEDED Pencils and pens Binder and folder Colored Pencils Black and white notebook Text book: History Alive! covered

Getting Prepared for High School 8 th Grade Students will: Gather a body of knowledge pertaining to World History Develop critical thinking and analytical skills Acquire note taking skills using the Cornell method Develop their writing skills Practice oral presentations Be exposed to study skills for larger scale exams Implement decision making and problem solving skills.
