The next morning Aunt Nanette took James to see a place called Harlem, where his uncle lived as a boy. Harlem was full of people walking, working, shopping, and eating. Everybody seemed to know Aunt Nanette. James saw a painting of smaller houses, flowers, and trains.’’ it’s painting of Carolina’’. James shouted. ‘’yep,’’ Uncle Romie said. ‘’That’s the Carolina I remember’’. James and his uncle walked to the kitchen to have their breakfast. They had eggs and milk.
